The unique structure of HCC ikon causes oil and water deposits to bead and form droplets upon contact with your lens, rather than spread out. The incredibly smooth surface of the HCC ikon coating then allows these droplets to simply slide away, rather then remaining on the lens impairing your vision.

HCC ikon incorporates Nikon's patented technology to minimise reflections and unwanted glare. Not only does this improve the quality of your vision, but it also improves the appearance of your spectacles.

The HCC ikon coating makes your lenses appear non-existent, allowing people to see your eyes rather than your lenses.

On regular plastic lenses oil and water deposits spread out upon contact with your lens, creating marks and smudges that obstruct your vision.

The high contact angle of HCC ikon coated lenses causes oil and water deposits to bead, creating droplets that can be easily wiped away.

Unlike other coatings, the distinctive molecular make up of HCC ikon causes oily dirt and dust to “sit on” the surface of the lens so that they can be wiped away effortlessly.
